La temática aquí abordada es la de “obesidad, deseo y superyo”, siendo la finalidad de este trabajo el poder esclarecer algunos aspectos de la estructuración subjetiva que inciden en este fenómeno, sin descuidar la particularidad inherente a cada sujeto. A estos fines se realiza un recorrido descriptivo de la obesidad en general desde el punto de vista médico – biológico y las distintas incidencias sociales u culturales para finalizar específicamente en la obesidad desde el punto de vista del psicoanálisis. El trabajo se inicia desde el caso clínico para llegar a la fundamentación teórica. En este recorrido se menciona el por qué se considera pertinente abarcar esta problemática Se incluyen aquellos conceptos de la teoría psicoanalítica que se consideran acordes para abordar la particularidad del caso que está vinculado con esta temática; tomando como referentes fundamentales los desarrollos teóricos de Sigmundo Freud, Jacques Lacan y otros autores contemporáneos seguidores de ambos. Se realiza un análisis del caso clínico, tomando viñetas significativas que den cuenta, a partir del discurso del sujeto, de los conceptos vertidos en el marco teórico. Por último, basándose en la particularidad del caso clínico y al marco teórico, se articulan las conclusiones de esta investigación, intentando responder a los objetivos planteados al comienzo de la misma.

The subjects here are “Obesity, desire and superego”, being the focus of this work to clear up some aspects about the subjective structure that influence in this fenomenon, paying attention to the inherent particularity of every person. For this purpose, a descriptive journey is done related to obesity en general terms from de medical – biological point of view and the different socio – cultural consequences to finish with the treatment of obesity specifically from the psychoanalytic point of view. This piece of work begins with a clinic study to reach a theoretical foundation. In this journey it is being mentioned the reason why it is pertinent to consider this topic. The concepts of the psychoanalytic theory are included because they are considered adequate to tackle the particularity oh the case related to the topic. The fundamental sources taken into account for the theoretical development are Sigmund Freud, Jacques Lacan and other contemporary authors who follow their theories. The analysis of the clinical case is done, on the basis of significant bubbles that give an account of the concepts shown by the theoretical framework through the individual’s discourse. Finally, on the basis the particularity of the clinical case and the theoretical framework, the conclusions of the research are articulated, intending to respond to the objectives stated at the beginning of this piece or work.
